Calgary Police Service Diversity Resources Unit
The Diversity Resources Unit has 12 portfolios of diverse groups, one of which is Sexuality and Gender Diversity. Through our Sexuality and Gender Diversity Chief Advisory Board, the Gay, Lesbian, Bi-sexual and Transgendered community liaise with the police to develop trust, understanding and address issues of concern for the police and these communities so that victims of same sex domestic violence, gay bashing and sexual assault are properly attended and crimes do not go unreported.

The Women’s Centre Calgary
The Women’s Centre offers a free, half-hour legal advice clinic in Calgary. The clinic addresses issues relating to family law and other types of law, but does not address issues pertaining to criminal law or immigration law. Appointments are required.
